  This Is An Image Of The (First) Prehistoric Platycerium Fern Andinum That Lee Moore 'The Adventurer' Rediscovered , Within The Area Of Pucallpa Peru . The Area Is Located About 200 Miles South , Of Tarapoto And Within The Great Amazon Rain Forest Jungle . With Lee Moore Are The Cashibo Indians Whom Brought The Large Platycerium Fern Andinum Down For Him In 1962 , From Its Host Tree .
  The Nursery Is Sorry For The Image Not Being Clear , But Lee Doesn't Have The Original Negative Any More . He Sent This Image To The Nursery , Which Was Posted In The Miami Herald In 1964 . The Image Comes From That News Paper .
