Prehistoric Platycerium Fern , Ant Pest

Ants Have Been On Earth Since Prehistoric Times And Do Serve A Positive Purpose For Nature . They Keep Natures Under Ground And Surface Clean By Eating Any Dead Creature Or Insect And Recycling It Back To The Earth . This Is Fine And There Is No Problem Found With This , But When It Comes To Prehistoric Platycerium Ferns Madagascar Tropicals Has No Use For Them And Have Been Unable To Find A Positive Purpose They Perform , Only Problems .

These Platycerium Fern Pest Have What Is Called A (Queen) Ant Which Are Born With A Set Of Wings And These Queens Will Fly Around Until They Find A Male Ant And Mate . After Mating They Continue Flying Around In Search Of A Place To Begin Their Nest . After Locating A Suitable Home And Get Settled In They Continue To Survive On The Food They Have Stored In Their Belly For A Few Weeks Then Lose Their Wings And Begin A (24-7) , (365) Day Baby Making Task . This Process Begins The Ant Nest And It Only Takes A Few Days For The Baby Ants To Mature And Begin Caring For The Queen , Protecting The Queen And Feeding The Queen . Queen Ants Can Only Mate One Time In Their Life , But This One Mating Will Produce (Thousands) Of Ant Eggs And She Never Moves , She Just Lays There Pumping Out Babies .

Here In California Our Natural And Normal Large (Brown) Ant Has Been Eliminated By A Very Small (Black) Ant Called The South American Ant . I Never Thought I Could Or Would Ever Miss Our Native Ground Loving (Brown) Ant , But I Do Very Much And Wish They Would Return . These South American Ants Are More Of A Prehistoric Platycerium Fern Pest Than Our Native Ants Ever Were , Because They Get Into And Under Anything They Can Find , Bring More Scale Pest To The Platycerium Ferns , Have A Tendency To Choose Platycerium Ferns To Make Their Nest In And It Doesn't Take Long For Any Of These Things To Be Performed By These Ants . I Also Believe That A Queen Of The South American Ant Produces Twice As Many Eggs As Our Native Brown Ant Did .

A Control Solution For Platycerium Fern Ant Pest Is Not Very Easy To Give . Basically Because It Is Virtually Impossible To (Kill) All Platycerium Fern Ant Pest And Especially The Small (Black) South American Ants . Within This Platycerium Fern Pest Section We Will Give Control Solutions For The South American (Black) Ant Since This Is The Only Ant Pest That Attacks The Prehistoric Platycerium Ferns At Madagascar Tropicals , At This Time , But The Measures Should Control Any Platycerium Fern Ant Pest Population . When Nature Cools Down Its Surface Temperatures Most Platycerium Fern Ant Pest Become Immobile , But When Nature Warms Up Its Surface Temperatures These Pest Come Out In Full Force And The South American Ant Usually Searches For Higher Ground Where The Situation Is Warm And Moist . If These Platycerium Fern Pest Can Find Any Type Of Scale Insect Whether It Be (Brown) Shelled Scale Or Mealy Bug They Will Bring The Scale Pest To The Plant Species Which They Have Their Nest In Or To The Plants Next Door . By Doing This They Do Not Have To Venture Very Far To Go To Work Or To The Grocery Store . If You Find Any Platycerium Fern Ant Pest In Or Around Your Species You Must Check All Species Within The Cultivating Area For Other Pest .

A Few Years Back There Were A Few General Consumer Over The Counter Products Which Could Control An Ant Population Very Easy , But The Over The Counter Sales Of These Products Have All But Disappeared , In California , For The General Public And Has Reached The Point Where You Need A Pesticide License In Order To Buy Them . In One Respect This Is Good But In Another Respect Its Not So Good , Because Even If You Do Have A Pesticide License And Apply An Ant Pest Product But No One Else Around You For Miles Can Or Will Apply An Ant Pest Product You Are Just Batting Your Head Against A Wall . Ant Pest Are Smart And Will Adapt To Different Situations For Their Survival , So If You Are Doing All That You Can Do To Control Them They Will Just Go To A Place Like Next Door Where No Control Is Being Performed . The South American Queen Ant Will Begin A Nest At This Location , Add More Queens To Her Colony For A Mass Production , Of Ants And Then Send Thousands Of Their Searching Ants To Your Platycerium Fern Cultivating Area In Order To Find A Loop Hole And Solution To Defeating Your Control Solution .

In California There Are No Known Natural Predators Of Ants Such As Ant Eaters . The Nursery Knows Of No Birds , Other Animals Or Insect Which Have Ants Listed As A Part Of Their Food Chain . As A Matter Of Fact (Ant Eaters) Are The Only Predators Of Ants On Earth That We Know Of Who Can Stand The Taste And Smell Of These Pest . You Just Can Not Go Out And Pick Up An Ant Eater To Help Control Ant Pest , Because They Are Outlawed From Having In Your Possession . Since Ant Eaters Are Outlawed To Have We Must Find Other Solutions To Help Control These Platycerium Fern Pest .

When Attempting To Control Platycerium Fern Ant Pest You Cannot Just Eliminate The Working Ants And Expect That To Work , Because The (Queen) Ant Or Ants Will Continue Producing . You Must Find The Nest Of The Platycerium Fern Pest And (Eliminate) All Queen Ants , Within The Nest . After Eliminating The Queens Of The Nest The Workers And All Other Ants Associated With The Nest Will (Die) , Because These Ants Will Not Have A Function To Perform And They Cannot Join Another Nest Colony .

Here In California The Best Products For Eliminating Queen Ants Have Been Removed From The Market , Because They Contaminated The Water Table . The Product Came In Granular Form And The Worker Ants Would Take It Back To The Nest To Feed The Queens And They Would (Die) . At Madagascar Tropicals We Have Tried A Number Of Pesticides To Control These Platycerium Fern Pest , But None Have Been Very Effective Or Worked That Well So We Have Lost A Few Platy. Fern Species Along The Way By Using Them . The Products Sold Today Such As The Above And Below Ground Ant Pesticide , Feeding Sticks Or Chemicals No Matter What The Mixture Rate Only (Kills) The Worker Ants And The Nursery Wants The Queens . For The Year Of (2005) So Far , In California , Nature Has Brought Us Record Amounts Of Rain Fall And We At Madagascar Tropicals Hope This Is Natures Way Of Placing Somewhat Of A Control Solution On The South American Ant Population We Have Now , By Drowning The Queens . The Nursery Will Not Know Until Nature Has Stopped The Rains And Warmed Up Its Surface Temperatures , But Still We Are Preparing For The Return Of These Platycerium Fern Pest .

The South American Platycerium Fern Ant Pest Is The Most Difficult Ant Species To Control . The Colony Could Consist Of Hundreds Of Queen Ants And Each Ant Colony Is Usually Divided Into Sub Colonies . Since South American Ants Are Not Aggressive Toward Each Other The Colonies Can Combine With Each Other . This Combining Of South American Ant Colonies Creates Very Large Colonies Which Will Extend Into Other Properties . These South American Ant Pest Are Very Aggressive Towards All Native Ant Species And Will (Kill) And Drive Them Away . The Primary Food Supply , For These Prehistoric Platycerium Fern Ant Pest Is The Sweet Honey Dew Which Is Produced By Aphids , Mealy Bugs And Scale Insects During The Warm Seasons Of The Year .
